Faget Workshop, 25 – 26 – 27 October 2017, Romania
The Workshop on Sustainable harmonization of Green with Grey infrastructure in South Eastern Europe (25 – 27th October, Faget, Romaina) is organized by Zarand Association and WWF DCP and is funded by The Fund for Bilateral Relations for the RO02 Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services Programme under the EEA Financial Mechanism 2009-2014.

WHAT
The Workshop will be the first step to develop a network of specialists and a multi-stakeholder platform – with the participation of authorities, administrations, universities, NGOs, practitioners- in South Eastern Europe to share information, experiences, expertise and best practices, to facilitate future partnerships, to identify available funding opportunities and to implement concrete projects & activities on the harmonization between nature conservation and infrastructure development projects. The language of the workshop will be English.
HOW
The workshop will focuss on:
• seting up the approach, vision, aims and organizational aspects of the netwok,
• agreement on the themes of interest and research priorities,
• development of objectives for each theme,
• identifying common needs for actions and cooperation opportunities on projects and common activities,
• exploration of funding oportunities,
• agreement on the next steps and development of an action plan for the network.
